Promosapiens 03:32
G D He was standing there alone with a phone and his own conversation D7 G C G Carbonation, no relation to the general tone - if you get my meaning G G7 Nothing that he said was worth one thin dime C Cm But the volume was prime time D7 G Am7 D G He was everybody’s buddy, but nobody was home - call screening G D If he’s so great, why does he need to advertise? D7 G If the product satisfies, then off the shelf it flies C G The whole world buys G G7 If a million other stores sell the same damn thing Am7 No wonder such a jingle is hard to sing D D7 G If he’s so great, why does he need to advertise? Eve wasn’t anybody’s stereotype, no Daddy’s little girl she didn't follow anyone elses leadin’- don’t open the door This is now, that was then. We can’t even label it me-ness envy Call it what you want to - nobody’s living in Eden anymore If she's so great, why does she need to advertise? didn’t she dazzle already the ears and eyes? as the garden dies The serpent in the garden isn't better off dead if the innocent folks are interested If she's so great, why does she need to advertise? If I hung some bling-a-ling on any old thing, would you be impressed? Or would you praise me to my face, then prattle with the cattle who know what you know? I just want to open the same old door some way that it’s never been opened before and stand up straight in the heat of battle Look out below But if I’m so great why do I need to advertise? My spotlight in the sky - it never fails to rise hard on the eyes If I was really such hot stuff Word of mouth would be good enough If I’m so great why do I need to advertise?

Freeway 02:35
On the freeway - our meeting place sitting safe inside my space and we have to bear the.., share the ..., hold up an eagle eye On the freeway, wave hello and bye bye as by and by we go along with millions of others, one anothers bygone, gone by there's a destination for me to find and I deserve a piece for my peace of mind it's just a little further down the double line I only want my fair share. on the freeway even food is fast then pay the gas price gonna get some gas while others sit in back getting driven with their wine and cheese I stayed alert I bought insurance No adventures against the currents I've been paying my dues while they've been living their life of ease Now I demand justice and my peace of mind from the daily drive and the daily grind it's just a little further down the double line I only want my fair share. Bent fenders - on the tar bumper cars don't get too far So we're just passing each other, gas passing on I see time, I time my seeing human movin', not a human being human movin, movin human, gloom and doomin', automaton hungry for love, hungry all the time True love is waiting for me to find it's just a little further down the double line I only want my fair share.

>>>Happy Boop-Boop-Boop to you, happy Boop-Boop-Boop to you Happy Boop-Boop-Boop, happy Boop-Boop-Boop Happy Boop-Boop-Boop to you It’s a special day for you, for no one else but you But we’ll play along, singing you this song: Happy Boop-Boop-Boop to you My Aunt Lizzie – she is Dutch. No one likes her very much ‘Cause her earlobes swell and her kisses smell. She is greasy to the touch. But on each September nine, it’s Aunt Lizzie’s birthday time We sing birthday songs, but all along we are thinking in our minds >>> Jane and Jimmy Spears - married fourteen-hundred years At least it seems that way, ‘cause they fight all day He gets angry, she gets tears But each year, on April three, they have an anniversary And to celebrate, they call off the hate Treat each other civilly. So >>> Where were you, can you remember, on the last night of December? Drinking beer and wine with all mankind, of which you are a member New Year’s Day, all that had changed was that your mind got rearranged You had laughed and played on a holiday that is meaningless and strange >>> -1983
